Financial reporting obligations require segregated policyholder funds and audited consolidated statements under prescribed standards. The substituted section requires the Corporation to maintain its own fund or funds, permit Board established reserves, and maintain separate participating and non participating policyholder funds; new sections 24A-24C impose layered books of account, electronic recordkeeping, minimum retention periods, obligation to prepare true and fair financial statements and consolidated financial statements conforming to applicable auditing and accounting standards, Board approval and specified signatures, attachment of the auditor's report, a detailed Board's report including a Directors' Responsibility Statement, and disclosure of deviations from standards; designated officers face monetary penalties for contraventions.
