Deemed exercise of Settlement Commission powers by Interim Board: Interim Board to perform functions under specified sections retrospectively. A new sub section (8) to section 245F deems that, from 1 February 2021, the Interim Board shall exercise and perform the powers and functions of the Settlement Commission under that section and that all provisions of the section apply mutatis mutandis to the Interim Board. Clauses 61-64 enact equivalent deeming provisions for sections 245DD, 245F, 245G and 245H, with retrospective effect from the same date.
