Advance filing of bill of entry required before arrival day to enable earlier customs clearance procedures. Amendment requires advance submission of the bill of entry before the day of conveyance arrival (including holidays) instead of by end of the next day after arrival, and adds a proviso empowering the Board to prescribe alternative time limits for presentation, not later than the end of the day of arrival, to facilitate faster clearance.
