          <h1>Income-tax Act Section 245C Amended: No Applications Allowed After February 1, 2021, Effective Retroactively.</h1> Section 245C of the Income-tax Act is amended by Clause 59 of the Finance Bill, 2021, to introduce a new subsection (5). This subsection stipulates that no applications can be made under this section from February 1, 2021, onwards. The amendment is effective retrospectively from February 1, 2021.
