of <h1>Regulation 33A mandates proceedings under Chapter III of repealed 2002 regulations be resolved per Chapter VA provisions.</h1> Regulation 33A of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Intermediaries) Regulations, 2008, mandates that any proceedings initiated under Chapter III of the now-repealed Securities and Exchange Board of India (Procedure for Holding Enquiry by Enquiry Officer and Imposing Penalty) Regulations, 2002, must be resolved following the provisions of Chapter VA. This regulation was inserted by the SEBI (Intermediaries) (Amendment) Regulations, 2009, effective from July 14, 2009.
