of <h1>Section 25 of Depositories Act Amended: New Clauses on Board's Settlement Terms and Regulatory Matters Added.</h1> In the Securities Laws (Amendment) Act, 2014, section 25 of the Depositories Act, 1996, is amended to include new clauses (h) and (i) in sub-section (2). Clause (h) addresses the terms set by the Board for settling proceedings under section 19-IA(2). Clause (i) pertains to any other matters that require specification or provision by regulations. These additions expand the scope of regulatory authority and procedural governance within the Act.
