The amendment modifies the penalty provisions in clauses (a), (b), and (c) by replacing the previous penalty structure with a new one. The revised penalty states that the fine shall not be less than one lakh rupees and may extend to one lakh rupees for each day the failure continues, with a maximum limit of one crore rupees.
