of <h1>New Section 32 in Securities Contracts Act Validates Past Actions for Settling Administrative and Civil Proceedings</h1> Section 32 has been added to the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1956 through the Securities Laws (Amendment) Act, 2014. This new section validates any actions taken or purported to have been taken under the principal Act concerning the settlement of administrative and civil proceedings. These actions are deemed valid and effective as if the amendments to the principal Act had been applicable at all relevant times.
