Effective April 1999.</h1> Section 272A of the Income-Tax Act is amended by inserting the words 'a declaration mentioned in section 197A, a certificate as required by section 203 and' into sub-section (2) of the proviso. This change is effective from April 1, 1999, as part of the Finance (No. 2) Act, 1998, under direct taxes.
