of <h1>Expenditure-tax Act Section 6 Amended: New Roles Added and Title Changes Effective October 1998</h1> Section 6 of the Expenditure-tax Act is amended effective October 1, 1998. In sub-section (1), the roles of 'Joint Director of Income-tax' and 'Joint Commissioner of Income-tax' are added after 'Additional Commissioner of Income-tax.' In sub-section (3), the term 'Deputy Commissioner' is replaced with 'Joint Commissioner.'
