Penalty for failure to maintain statutory registers: company and defaulting officers now face prescribed penalties under the amendment.

The amendment replaces sub section (5) to make a company liable to a specified penalty for failing to maintain the register of members, debenture holders or other security holders in accordance with sub sections (1) and (2), and to make every officer in default personally liable to a separate specified penalty.
