of <h1>Regulation 52 allows Commission to invite expert assistance in competition law matters, with discretion over terms and conditions.</h1> Regulation 52 of the CCI (General) Regulations, 2009, allows the Commission to invite experts of eminence to assist in its functions under the Law of Competition. This is done without affecting sub-section (3) of section 36 of the Act or any guidelines issued. The Commission has the authority to determine the terms, conditions, and timing for such invitations. Additionally, the Commission retains absolute discretion in evaluating the expertise or eminence of the experts invited to assist.
