In subsection (1), the phrase 'Central Government may, by notification' is replaced with 'Commission may, with the prior approval of the Central Government.' This change grants the Commission authority to act with the Central Government's approval. The amendment came into force on July 18, 2023, as per Notification No. S.O. 3199(E).
