          <h1>Income-tax Act Section 245U amended: Powers shift from Authority to Board for Advance Rulings as notified by Government.</h1> Section 245U of the Income-tax Act is amended to include a new sub-section (3). This sub-section stipulates that from a date specified by the Central Government via notification in the Official Gazette, the powers previously held by the Authority under this section will be transferred to the Board for Advance Rulings. The provisions applicable to the Authority will similarly apply to the Board for Advance Rulings.
