of <h1>Deadline for Orders Under Benami Property Act Extended to September 30, 2021, by Finance Act Amendment</h1> Section 26 of the Prohibition of Benami Property Transaction Act, 1988, has been amended by the Finance Act, 2021. In sub-section (7) of this section, a new proviso has been added. This proviso extends the deadline for passing orders under this sub-section. If the original deadline falls between July 1, 2021, and September 29, 2021, the new deadline is extended to September 30, 2021.
