of <h1>Powers of Settlement Commission Transferred to Interim Board Under Amended Section 245H, Effective February 2021.</h1> Section 245H of the Income-tax Act has been amended by the Finance Act, 2021. A new sub-section (3) is added, effective from February 1, 2021, transferring the powers of the Settlement Commission to the Interim Board. The provisions applicable to the Settlement Commission will now apply to the Interim Board in the same manner.
