Applicability of Section 245BD: the section's provisions cease to apply on or after 1 February 2021 under the amendment. A proviso is inserted into the provision previously known as section 245BD and is deemed to have been inserted with effect from 1 February 2021, providing that the provisions of that section shall not apply on or after 1 February 2021, thereby rendering the section inapplicable from that date by statutory deeming.
