of <h1>Central Government to Establish Boards for Advance Tax Rulings Under Section 245-OB of Income-tax Act.</h1> Section 245-OB, introduced by the Finance Act, 2021, mandates the Central Government to establish one or more Boards for Advance Rulings to provide advance rulings under the specified chapter of the Income-tax Act. These Boards will be constituted from a date appointed by the Central Government via notification in the Official Gazette. Each Board will consist of two members, both of whom must be officers of at least the rank of Chief Commissioner, as nominated by the Board.
