Annual general meeting requirements: members may discuss and adopt financial statements, appoint directors and auditors, and vote electronically. An annual general meeting must be held each financial year at a Board-specified time, at the central office or another permitted place in India, with not more than fifteen months between successive annual general meetings; general meetings are required only if there are members other than the Central Government entitled to vote, and until the first such meeting the Board shall perform meeting functions. Members present may discuss and adopt financial statements with the auditor's and Board's reports, adopt the Annual Report, approve dividend declarations, appoint directors and auditors and fix auditor remuneration.
