          <h1>Inspection of goods in movement: prescribed documents and devices must be carried and produced for verification upon interception.</h1> The provision empowers the Government to require the person in charge of a conveyance carrying consignments above a specified value to carry prescribed documents and devices, with validation of those documents as prescribed; a proper officer intercepting the conveyance may demand production of the prescribed documents and devices and inspect the goods, and the person in charge must produce them and allow inspection.
