Protection from suit: officials acting in good faith under GST law are shielded from legal proceedings. No suit, prosecution or other legal proceedings lie against the President, State President, Members, officers or employees of the Appellate Tribunal, or any person authorised by the Tribunal, for anything done or intended to be done in good faith under the Act or the rules made thereunder; the same protection applies to any officer appointed or authorised under the Act for acts or intended acts done in good faith pursuant to the Act or its rules.
