of <h1>New Customs Advance Rulings Regulations 2021 Replace 2005 Rules; Enacted Under Sections 157, 28H, 28KA, 28M</h1> The Customs Authority for Advance Rulings Regulations, 2021, issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, under Notification No. 01/2021-Customs (N.T.), supersedes the previous 2005 regulations related to the Customs Act, 1962. These regulations, enacted under sections 157, 28H, 28KA, and 28M of the Customs Act, establish new procedural guidelines for advance rulings in customs matters. They officially commenced upon their publication in the Official Gazette on January 4, 2021.
