Mode of service of notices: governed by the Act's provisions, replacing previously specified postal, courier and electronic methods. Regulation 12 provides that service of notices or documents on parties to an application or petition and on a Principal Commissioner or Commissioner shall be effected in accordance with the provisions of the Act. Previously, the regulation specified methods of service-hand delivery, registered post with acknowledgement, speed post, courier, or other transmission means including e-mail or fax-and deemed notices served if delivered to the address in the application or to the office of the relevant Principal Commissioner or Commissioner.
