of <h1>SEBI to Reject Debenture Trustee Applications Not Meeting Regulation 6; Applicants Can Request Reconsideration Within 30 Days</h1> If an application for registration as a debenture trustee does not meet the criteria set in regulation 6, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) will reject it after giving the applicant a chance to be heard. The rejection will be communicated within thirty days, detailing the reasons. An aggrieved applicant can request reconsideration within thirty days of receiving the rejection. Upon receiving such a request, SEBI will review its decision and inform the applicant of its findings in writing as soon as possible.
