An application fee of Rs. 5,00,000, a registration fee of Rs. 50,00,000, and an annual fee of Rs. 10,00,000 or 0.0005% of the assets under custody, whichever is higher, are required. Fees are payable via electronic methods as specified by SEBI. Annual fees are due within one month after the financial year ends and must be accompanied by a certified statement of assets under custody. Provisions address fee adjustments for custodians registered before and after regulatory amendments in 2006.
