of <h1>Regulation 9B on Custodian Certificate Renewal Omitted from SEBI Regulations 1996 Effective March 22, 2019.</h1> Regulation 9B of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Custodian) Regulations, 1996, which pertained to the renewal of certificates for custodians of securities, has been omitted as of March 22, 2019. Previously, it required custodians seeking renewal to apply to the Board using Form A at least three months before the certificate's expiration, with the application process treated similarly to an initial certificate grant under regulation 3 and accompanied by a specified fee. This provision was initially inserted by an amendment effective October 31, 2006.
