of <h1>SEBI Regulation 25B: Board Can Recover Inspection Costs from Custodians, Including Auditor Fees, Effective Since 1997.</h1> Regulation 25B of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Custodian) Regulations, 1996, allows the Board to recover expenses incurred during the inspection of books, records, and documents from the custodian or applicant. These expenses include fees paid to auditors. This regulation was inserted by an amendment effective from October 17, 1997.
