of <h1>Central Government Empowered to Address Equalisation Levy Challenges Under Clause 177 of Finance Bill 2016, Orders Valid for 2 Years.</h1> Clause 177 of the Finance Bill, 2016 grants the Central Government the authority to issue orders to address any difficulties in implementing the provisions of the Chapter on Equalisation Levy. This authority is valid for two years from the commencement date of the Chapter's provisions. Any order issued must be published in the Official Gazette and subsequently presented before each House of Parliament. The amendments will become effective on the date specified in a notification issued by the Central Government.
