of <h1>Central Government can prohibit dealing with articles or currency obtained through Foreign Contribution Regulation Act violations</h1> The Central Government has authority to prohibit any person from dealing with articles or currency obtained in violation of the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act after conducting appropriate inquiry. Upon issuing a written prohibition order served in prescribed manner, the person cannot pay, deliver, transfer or otherwise handle such articles or currency except as directed by government orders. The enforcement provisions of the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act regarding seizure and handling of assets apply to such prohibited articles and currency.
