Construction of notifications: expressions in subordinate instruments take the meanings given in the parent enactment unless repugnant. Where a Central Act or Regulation confers power to issue subordinate instruments, expressions used in those instruments made after commencement shall, unless repugnant in subject or context, have the same meanings as in the Act or Regulation conferring the power.
