If the Registrar, following an inquiry, inspection, or application by three-fourths of the members, believes dissolution is warranted, they may cancel the society's registration. Members can appeal this decision within two months. If no appeal is made, the cancellation takes effect after this period. If an appeal is filed, the cancellation is on hold until confirmed by the appellate authority. Appeals are generally directed to the State Government, unless specified otherwise by notification in the Official Gazette.
