Approved Exporter origin declarations require authorisation, documentary identification, electronic authentication, and customs verification under the India-EFTA framework. Origin declarations may be issued only by exporters designated as Approved Exporters by the exporting Party's competent authority, subject to domestic requirements, application procedures, authorisation numbers, monitoring, audits, penalties, and possible revocation. The declaration must be in English, on an invoice or other commercial document, identify the approved exporter and originating products, use the prescribed wording, state the country of origin, and include the authorisation number. Electronic authentication mechanisms are prescribed for verifying declarations from the participating EFTA States.
