Preferential tariffs granted for in-transit or bonded goods at entry into force; retrospective proof of origin within nine months (rule 13)
The customs administration of the importing Party must grant preferential tariff treatment to goods originating in the exporting Party that, on the agreement's entry into force, are either en route to the importing Party or remain under customs control (including in a bonded warehouse). For such goods, a proof of origin may be completed retrospectively within nine months after entry into force, provided the rules of origin, including the requirements of rule 13, are satisfied.
