of <h1>Finance Act 1999 Updates: Section 139 Now Excludes Two-Wheelers, Requires Bank and Credit Card Details Disclosure.</h1> The Finance Act, 1999, amends Section 139 of the Income-tax Act, effective June 1, 1999. In sub-section (1), the term 'motor vehicle' is revised to exclude two-wheeled motor vehicles, regardless of any detachable sidecar. In sub-section (6), the amendment expands the requirement to include details about the individual's bank account and credit card, in addition to the existing requirement to disclose assets and their value.
