Board for Advance Rulings: central government to constitute boards with two-member composition requiring senior officer rank. The Central Government shall constitute one or more Boards for Advance Rulings by notification to give advance rulings under this Chapter. Each Board shall consist of two members, each being an officer not below the rank of Chief Commissioner, to be nominated by the Board, thereby prescribing the boards' commencement, number and minimum officer seniority.
