Clause 501 - Service of notice, generally.

Service of notice allows delivery by post, civil-procedure methods, electronic records, or other prescribed transmission methods.

Service of notices, summonses, requisitions, orders and other communications under the Act may be effected by post or approved courier services, by methods provided under civil procedure for service of summons, in the form of electronic records under the Information Technology framework, or by other prescribed means; the Board may make rules specifying addresses including electronic mail addresses, and electronic mail is defined to include messages and attachments transmitted or received on computer systems or communication devices.
