          <h1>Statement of distributed income: prescribed forms and accountant verification required for funds, filed with the Assessing Officer.</h1> Statement of distributed income required Unit Trust of India and Mutual Funds to furnish prescribed statements to the Assessing Officer having jurisdiction over the principal office. Unit Trusts used Form No. 63 and Mutual Funds used Form No. 63A, with each statement to be duly verified by an accountant in the manner indicated in the respective form. The rule prescribing these requirements has since been omitted by notification.
