of <h1>SEBI to Reject Non-Compliant Registration Applications Under Regulation 3A, Offers Hearing and Reconsideration Option</h1> Where an application for a certificate of registration under regulation 3A does not meet the requirements of regulation 6, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) will reject the application after providing an opportunity for a hearing. The decision, including the reasons for rejection, will be communicated within thirty days. An applicant dissatisfied with the decision can request reconsideration within thirty days of receiving the rejection notice. Upon receiving such a request, SEBI will review its decision and inform the applicant of the outcome in writing as soon as possible.
