of <h1>SEBI Amendments Remove Regulation 9B, Changing Registration Certificate Validity Rules for Underwriters from 2011 Onwards.</h1> Regulation 9B of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Underwriters) Regulations, 1993, which addressed the validity period of registration certificates for underwriters, was omitted by the SEBI (Underwriters) (Amendment) Regulations, 2011. Before its omission, the regulation, introduced in 2006, stipulated that a registration certificate and its renewal would be valid for three years from the date of issuance.
