of <h1>SEBI Regulation 38F permits waiver of strict rule 19 enforcement for security receipts if compliance with 2008 regulations.</h1> Regulation 38F of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) allows the Board to waive strict enforcement of sub-rules (1) to (3) of rule 19 of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Rules, 1957, concerning the listing of security receipts. This waiver is applicable as long as the issuers comply with the relevant regulations under the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Issue and Listing of Securitized Debt Instruments and Security Receipts) Regulations, 2008. This provision was inserted by a notification dated June 26, 2018.
