of <h1>Directors Must File Business Commencement Declaration with Form INC-20A Under Rule 23A; Requires Professional Verification</h1> Under Rule 23A of the Companies (Incorporation) Rules, 2014, a director must file a declaration at the commencement of business using Form No. INC-20A. This form must be verified by a practicing Company Secretary, Chartered Accountant, or Cost Accountant. If the company requires registration or approval from sectoral regulators like the Reserve Bank of India or the Securities and Exchange Board of India, such approvals must be obtained and attached to the declaration. This rule was inserted via a notification dated December 18, 2018.
