Extension of a reserved company name is available under Rule 9A via payment through the web service using SPICe+, with the Registrar extending a name reserved under Rule 9 when prescribed fees are paid within the specified antecedent windows from the initial approval date; the Registrar also retains power to cancel the reserved name under sub-section (5) of section 4 of the Act.
