<h1>Companies can extend reserved name up to 60 days under Rule 9A, with fees via SPICe+ service.</h1> Rule 9A of the Companies (Incorporation) Rules, 2014, allows for the extension of the reservation of a company name upon payment of specified fees through the SPICe+ web service. The reservation can be extended up to forty days with a fee of one thousand rupees if paid within twenty days of approval, or up to sixty days with a fee of two thousand rupees if paid within forty days. Alternatively, a sixty-day extension is possible with a fee of three thousand rupees if paid within twenty days. The Registrar retains the authority to cancel the reserved name as per the Act.
