          <h1>Inspection of goods in movement: officers may demand prescribed documents and devices and require production and inspection.</h1> The provision empowers the Government to require the person in charge of a conveyance carrying consignments above a prescribed value to carry specified documents and devices, validated in a prescribed manner; a proper officer intercepting such a conveyance may demand production of those documents and devices for verification, and the person in charge must produce them and allow inspection of the goods.
