Failure to furnish required information attracts a statutory penalty and additional daily fines for continuing non-compliance. Where a person, without reasonable cause, fails to furnish information or return required under the provision, or wilfully furnishes information or a return known to be false, the person is liable to a penalty; a continuing offence attracts an additional daily fine subject to an overall statutory cap.
