Deemed exports: supplies treated as exports when goods remain in India and payment is in rupees or convertible foreign exchange. The Government may, on the Council's recommendation, notify specified supplies of goods as deemed exports where the goods do not leave India, provided the goods are manufactured in India and payment is received in Indian rupees or in convertible foreign exchange.
