Grant of licence or fiscal instrument enables applicants to obtain import or export authorisations under trade policy or statutory order. Application for grant of a licence, certificate, scrip or any instrument bestowing financial or fiscal benefits permits a person to seek authorisation to import or export goods, services or technology in accordance with the provisions of the policy or an order made under sections 5 and 3 of the Act.
