<h1>Rule 13: Packing Considered Part of Product for Origin, Separate Treatment Allowed by National Legislation</h1> Rule 13 of the Rules of Determination of Origin of Goods under the Agreement on South Asian Free Trade Area (SAFTA), 2006, addresses the treatment of packing in determining the origin of products. It states that packing should generally be considered as part of the product it contains. However, there is an allowance for packing to be treated separately if required by national legislation.
