<h1>SAFTA Rules on Origin of Goods: Applicable to SAARC Nations, Amended in 2013 for Member State Naming Clarity.</h1> These rules are titled the Rules of Determination of Origin of Goods under the Agreement on South Asian Free Trade Area (SAFTA), 2006. They apply to the member states of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC), including Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. The rules were officially implemented on July 1, 2006, and were later amended by Notification No. 27/2013 on March 1, 2013, concerning the naming of member states.
