of <h1>SAFTA Products Gain Origin Status with 4-Digit HS Change, Max 60% Non-Origin Material, Final Process in Export State</h1> Products originating in an exporting Contracting State under the South Asian Free Trade Area (SAFTA) are considered sufficiently processed to qualify for originating status if they meet specific criteria. The final product must be classified under a different four-digit Harmonized System heading than the non-originating materials used. Additionally, the value of materials from other countries or of undetermined origin must not exceed 60% of the FOB value, with the final manufacturing process completed in the exporting State. Products listed in Annex-A may receive preferential treatment if they meet these criteria or specific conditions outlined in Annex-A.
