Single Contracting State Content: originating status requires a tariff classification change or limited foreign content plus local final processing. Single Contracting State Content under SAFTA requires that the final product be classified in a different four digit HS heading than all non originating materials used, and that the total value of materials, parts or produce from other countries or of undetermined origin does not exceed the permitted share of the FOB value, with the final manufacturing process performed in the exporting Contracting State; Annex A products are eligible if they satisfy Rule 8(a) or the specific Annex A condition.
