<h1>Special Treatment for Goods from Least Developed States and Sri Lanka Under SAFTA Rule 10: Favorable Adjustments Explained.</h1> Rule 10 of the Rules of Determination of Origin of Goods under the Agreement on South Asian Free Trade Area (SAFTA), 2006, provides special treatment to products originating in Least Developed Contracting States. These products receive a favorable adjustment of 10 percentage points to the percentage specified in Rule 8. Additionally, products originating in Sri Lanka benefit from a favorable adjustment of 5 percentage points to the same percentage.
